Synopsis:

Filmed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Steven Okazaki, this HBO Documentary chronicles the destruction and human resilience that followed in the aftermath of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in World War II. With interviews with fourteen atomic bomb survivors and four Americans closely involved in the bombings, the film dives into the unimaginable suffering and human endurance that followed long after the aftermath.
