Synopsis:

Joe Don Baker walks tall and carries a huge stick in this tremendously popular 1973 thriller that is based on a true story.

Baker stars as Buford Pusser, a real-life Tennessee sheriff who comes down hard on gamblers, moonshiners and other criminals in his jurisdiction.

When the underworld figures strike back and murder the sheriff's wife, Pusser becomes a one-man force of vengeance, leading to a stirring, bloody conclusion!
