Synopsis:

The tumultuous life of musician Dewey Cox is told in this story where his personal life is as sensational as the songs he sang. A constant womanizer thrice married and friends to Elvis and the Beatles, Dewey Cox soon grows into a national icon and must learn to readjust his love-life when he eventually falls for Darlene, his long-time backup singer.
