Synopsis:

Hailed as a god and feared like the devil, Bud Kilmer (Voight, Anaconda) is a coach obsessed with winning. With 35 years as head coach and 22 division titles under his belt, he's going for his 23rd.

But his perfect plans for gold are marred by the season-ending injury of his star quarterback. Filling those big shoes is Jonathan Moxon (James Van Der Beek, TV's Dawson's Creek), an unorthodox athlete that doesn't feel coach Kilmer deserves to be worshipped.

Coach Kilmer doesn't think Moxon fits in his game plan. But it is only when the boys question Kilmer's tactics that they become men.
