Unforgiven

Synopsis:

A winner of four Academy Awards, including one for actor-director Clint Eastwood, who rewrote the genre with this unsparing portrait of the American West. He is William Munny, a former gunfighter and thief struggling to overcome his evil past.

Desperate for money to support his children, he accepts one final job -? to kill a couple of sinister cowboys and collect the bounty.

Riding into town with his old partner Ned Logan (Freeman, Seven, Kiss The Girls), Munny soon comes up against the local sheriff, Little Bill Daggett (Hackman, Enemy Of The State, Absolute Power, Antz), a practical, hard-nosed lawmaker who intends to chase any trouble out of town the second it rides in.

Before Munny and Daggett are through with each other, however, there will be blood spilt and casualties lined up against the fence. Hackman won a Supporting Actor Oscar for his performance, and the film itself received a Best Picture nod.
