Treasure of the Yankee Zephyr (1984)

Synopsis:

At an isolated lake high in the New Zealand mountains, a deer hunter finds the wreckage of a WWII plane with $50 million dollars in it. Keeping the money turns out to be a tough job as a band of crooks hears of his find and will kill to have it for themselves.
