Trapped

Synopsis:

Psychopathic killer Joe Hickey (Kevin Bacon- Mystic River, Hollow Man) and his wife Cheryl (Courtney Love - Man On The Moon, People Vs Larry Flynt) think they have the foolproof plan when they kidnap children of rich families for ransom.

Their next target is wealthy anesthesiologist Will Jennings (Stuart Townsend - The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Queen Of The Damned), his wife Karen (Academy AwardÂ® winner Charlize Theron- Monster, The Italian Job) and their daughter Abby (Dakota Fanning - The Cat In The Hat, I Am Sam).

When Will leaves for a conference in Seattle, the Jennings' beautiful lakeside Oregon home is attacked by the Hickeys and their partner Marvin (Pruitt Taylor Vince - Monster, Identity, S1m0ne, The Cell). If the Jennings attempt to call the police, their daughter dies.

While Marvin whisks Abby off to a hideout in the woods, Joe holds Karen hostage at home until Will hands over the ransom money to Cheryl. What the kidnappers never foresee is Karen's will to fight back.
