| | Total Recall (1990)Synopsis: In 2084, Quaid (Golden Globe®-winner Arnold Schwarzenegger), a construction worker on Earth is haunted by dreams of another life on Mars. He goes to Rekall Inc. to have artificial memories of Mars planted in his head. However, during this procedure, a number of agents from Mars fear he will discover his mysterious true identity. Bullets and bone-crunching mayhem follow in large doses as Quaid heads to Mars to deal with mutants, ancient alien races, and a greedy capitalist controlling the colonists' air supply, in an effort to remember his real identity. The film received a Special Achievement Oscar for Visual Effects in 1990 and nominations for Best Sound and the Best Sound Effects Editing.
