Synopsis:

The top-grossing film of 1986, "Top Gun" became the vehicle which launched Tom Cruise to superstardom. Its never-seen-before flight sequences also propelled the movie into film history, garnering four Academy Awards® nominations, including a win for Best Music (Original Song) and two Golden Globe® nominations including a win for 'Best Original Song'.

Navy pilot Pete Mitchell (Cruise, Collateral, Minority Report) is sent to Miramar Naval Air Station for advance training. However things come to a head when one of his friends dies. Afraid that he might have lost his courage, Mitchell gets a chance to prove himself on a crucial mission. Sparked by a hit sound track and a cast loaded with star-power including Val Kilmer, Tim Robbins and Meg Ryan.
