The Winning Season

Synopsis:

The Winning Season is a movie made in the tradition of heart-warming baseball fantasy movies like "Field of Dreams" and "The Natural".

The year is 1985 and 12-year-old Joe Stoshack finds a rare baseball card of the legendary "Flying Dutchman" Honus Wagner (Modine, Le Divorce, Transporter 2), said to be worth a million dollars.

But the card proves to have more than just monetary value when it magically transforms Joe into a young man (Hatosy, Anywhere But Here, The Postman) and transports him back in time to 1909 when the real Honus is set to play in a legendary game.

Joe soon becomes a key figure in Honus' professional and personal life. However, he finds himself thrust into a moral dilemma when he learns more about Honus' life and values.

Kristin Davis (Sex And The City) co-stars in this touching story about doing the right thing. Based on the children's book by Dan Gutman "Honus and Me, The Winning Season".
