The Truman Show (1998)

Synopsis:

Truman Burbank (Carrey) is a special individual. He is the star of his own TV show but he doesn't even know it. His picture-perfect town of Seahaven is actually a gigantic soundstage that has 5,000 cameras hidden so that the creator of the show, director Christof (Harris), can capture his every move. In a major stab at the modern media of today, this movie pokes fun at the world's craving for real life dramas and studies how the line between reel life and real life can be blurred.
