The Spiral Road

Synopsis:

Rock Hudson stars as Dr. Anton Drager, an atheist who travels with his wife Els (Rowlands) to the jungles of Java in 1936. Drager becomes an assistant to a doctor who is famous for treating lepers, but Drager wants to use the doctor's reputation for his own fame and fortune. However, when Drager encounters black magic from a native witch doctor, he is forced to re-evaluate his life.
