| | The ShadowSynopsis: The original crime fighting superhero, The Shadow existed as a radio show, a theatrical serial and a comic book long before this current blockbuster incarnation. Alec Baldwin (Pearl Harbour) takes on the dual role of The Shadow and his playboy alter-ego, Lamont Cranston, both of whom must thwart the ruthless Shiwan Khan (Lone, Rush Hour 2) in his quest for world domination. Armed with occult powers - the ability to "cloud men's minds" and become virtually invisible (except, of course, for a tell-tale shadow - our superhero is assisted in his mission by Margo Lane (Miller, The Relic), a socialite who becomes romantically linked to Lamont Cranston. With a power cast - beloved comedian Jonathan Winters, Tim Curry, and respected British actor Ian McKellen have supporting roles - and a power crew - director Russell Mulcahy (The Real McCoy) helms a screenplay by David Koepp (Mission Impossible), expect one hell of a ride.
