Synopsis:

Against his father's advice, Mathayus joins the Black Scorpions, the best warriors of the Emperor of Akkad. He meets Layla during training but is apprehended by Sargon, the army commander. After the death of his father, Mathayus graduates but must now take a stand when commanded by new Emperor Sargon to kill his brother.
