The Postman

Synopsis:

Never has delivering the mail been like this! Set futuristically in the aftermath of a destructive war, "The Postman" pits a solitary traveller (star and director Costner, Open Range) against a dark fascist force, the Holnists, led by General Bethlehem (Patton, The Punisher).

Stumbling upon a long-abandoned US Postal Service jeep, the drifter proclaims himself The Postman and sets out to deliver the 15-year old mail.

As he journeys through small towns, he is gradually transformed into a symbol of hope for the re-establishment of government, and the people's final chance to restore the American Dream.
