Synopsis:

Dashing pirates and their lovely lasses take you along for a rollicking good time in the film version of Broadway's long-running hit by Gilbert and Sullivan.

Kevin Kline plays the fiery pirate king ever ready to brandish his sword for a rousing duel. As young lovers, rock stars Linda Ronstadt and Rex Smith sparkle in their crossover to the jazzed-up version of Gilbert and Sullivan's operetta. Angela Lansbury stars as the nanny of the bumbling pirate band.
