The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Synopsis:

In this extraordinary adventure, a group is trying to start a World War, and be at the head of it. Not only does the group have highly superior weapons, but it also has extreme cunning, as revealed by its war mongering tricks of causing the countries into suspecting each other. A supposed loyalist to her Majesty's Empire Allan Quartermain is sent to fetch in an effort to track down the group. In a private and secret meeting, Quartermain meets his teammates to complete the mission. Soon into their adventure they discover that the Fantom is behind these attacks, but there is more to this war than mere battling and cunning.
