| | The Jack BullSynopsis: This HBO Original movie is based on a true story. Myrl Redding (Cusack), a Wyoming horse trader, clashes with rancher Henry Ballard (Jones) after Ballard abuses two of Redding's horses and his Indian caretaker. When the corrupt Judge Tolliver (Goodman) dismisses Redding's complaint, Redding begins a personal campaign against Ballard to force him to restore the haggard horses to good health. Redding learns that he must make his own rules and pay a steep price to enforce them as things escalate into violence, misery and murder. An exceptionally well-made western with a message.
