| | The IslandSynopsis: Lincoln Six-Echo (McGregor, Stormbreaker, Scenes Of A Sexual Nature) is a resident at a seemingly utopian but contained facility in the mid-21st century. Like all of the inhabitants of this carefully controlled environment, Lincoln hopes to be chosen to go to "The Island," the last uncontaminated spot on the planet. But Lincoln soon discovers that everything about his existence is a horrific lie. He makes a daring escape with beautiful fellow resident Jordan Two-Delta (Johansson, The Black Dahlia, The Prestige). Their escape is aided in part by institute worker (Buscemi, The Sopranos, Delirious). Upon orders of the sinister institute's boss (Bean, Silent Hill, Sharpe's Challenge), the two are relentlessly pursued by bounty hunter Laurent (Hounsou, Beauty Shop, Eragon). Lincoln and Jordan must find their human counterparts if they are to expose the terrifying secret of the institute and save their lives.
