Synopsis:

Big-hearted Chicago family man Chet (Candy, Canadian Bacon, JFK) has brought his family to a lakeside resort area, and although his wife and kids aren't quite as excited as he is, Chet has high hopes for the ultimate vacation. However, his optimism is sabotaged when his obnoxious brother-in-law Roman (Aykroyd, Christmas With The Kranks, 50 First Dates) drops in unexpectedly, along with his snooty wife Kate (Golden Globe® winner Bening, Diva, Being Julia) and their strange twin girls.

The rivalry between Roman and Chet sets the stage for a series of riotous misadventures ... and war! Watch out for John Candy's attempt at water-skiing!
