The Flash

Synopsis:

Move over Superman - there's a new kid in town - and he's just as fast as a speeding bullet, if not faster. Based on the DC comic book character, this film follows the life of police scientist , Barry Allen (Shipp, Starcrossed). He gets struck by lightning and doused in chemicals, only to be transformed into the fastest man alive - able to move at nearly the speed of sound, although only in limited bursts. With the help of a lab scientist, Tina McGee (Pays, The Santa Trap), he learns to control his powers. But when his older brother Jay, a motorcycle cop, is killed in the line of duty; Barry asks Tina to make him a special costume that can withstand the rigors of hyper-speed travel. As "The Flash," he sets forth to stop the Dark Riders - an evil motorcycle gang that caused his brother's death, and that now threatens to take over Central City.
