The Devil's Advocate

Synopsis:

Small town attorney Kevin Lomax (Reeves, Constantine, Thumbsucker) makes his way to New York City with his wife Mary Ann (Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winner Theron, Head In The Clouds, The Life And Death Of Peter Sellers).

The task is to put his legalistic skills to the test at a leading Manhattan law firm run by the inscrutable and megalomaniacal John Milton (Academy Award® and Golden Globe® winner Pacino, The Merchant Of Venice, Angels In America).

It all goes smoothly -- with Milton urging them to stay, putting Kevin on a $400-per-hour salary, and moving the couple into a luxurious apartment in his own building on Fifth Avenue.

Dazzled by his entrance into paradise, Kevin can't seem to grasp yet why all this good fortune has come to him so easily. Little does he know that Milton is Satan incarnate, and he's got a destiny for Kevin to fulfill.
