Synopsis:

One of the quintessential coming-of-age movies of the '80s by John Hughes -- of Maid in Manhattan, Home Alone, 101 Dalmatians & Denice the Menace fame -- which launched its leads as teen idols of the era.

Five troubled students - a jock (Estevez, The Mighty Ducks, Mission Impossible, Young Guns), a metal head (Nelson, Endsville, Airheads), a weirdo (Sheedy, Short Circuit, Bad Boys), a prom queen (Ringwald, The Translator, Teaching Mrs Tingle), and a nerd (Hall, The Dead Zone, Pirates of Silicon Valley, Edward Scissorhands) - are brought together one Saturday in detention class. Before the day is over, they break the rules, bare their souls, and touch each other in a way they never dreamed possible.
