Synopsis:

Adapted from legendary crime writer Leonard Elmore's book of the same title, George Armitage (Miami Blues, Grosse Pointe Blank) directs this comedy caper.

Jack Ryan (Wilson, Starsky & Hutch, Shanghai Knights) is a likeable drifter whose talents lie just outside the law. Hoping a change of scenery will bring him luck, Jack heads for Hawaii. But temptation is everywhere on the exotic North Shore of Oahu.

Nancy Hayes seduces Ryan to help her in double crossing Ray Ritchie (Emmy® and Golden Globe® winner Sinise, The Forgotten, CSI: NY), a shady real estate developer who is building a resort despite protests by local Hawaiians. At the same time, District Judge Walter Crewes (Oscar® and Golden Globe® winner Freeman, Batman Begins, Million Dollar Baby) takes an unusually keen interest in Jack. Is he in for the perfect score, or the perfect setup?
