Synopsis:

And there is an audience - the college boys and locals cheer the rapists on. As she takes her case to court, she demands nothing less than seeing her rapists and the witnesses punished. But public prosecutor Kathryn Murphy (McGillis, No One Can Hear You, Top Gun) delves into Sarah's life and sees that Sarah's checkered past may go against her. But her earnest plea for help slowly convinces Murphy to seek justice for her client, and full retribution against those who perpetrated and witnessed the rape. This powerful drama won Jodie Foster the Academy Award® and Golden Globe® award for Best Actress.
