Synopsis:

When a nuclear blast wipes out a portion of California, a small, outlying community waits in horror as the radiation creeps toward them. Jane Alexander plays Carol Wetherly, a mother of two who tries to maintain dignity and hope in the midst of disaster. A haunting speculation on the devastating human impact of nuclear holocaust.
