Sweet Nothing in My Ear (2008)

Synopsis:

Suppose your deaf child could have an operation that might allow him or her to hear again. Dan Miller and his wife Laura only want what's best for their eight-year-old son Adam, who's been deaf since age four. Laura opposes the surgery, as she is herself deaf and doesn't consider it a disability. However, Dan misses talking and listening to his son.
