| | StarmanSynopsis: Director John Carpenter (Escape From L.A.) presents a romantic science fiction odyssey starring Jeff Bridges (Scenes Of The Crime, K-PAX) as the innocent alien from a distant planet who learns what it meant to be a man in love. When his spacecraft is shot down over Wisconsin, Starman (Bridges), arrives at the home of recently widowed Jenny Hayden (Allen, In The Bedroom, Shallow End), and clones the form of her husband. On receiving news that rescue will only arrive three days later in Arizona, Starman now has to convince Jenny to help him or else, he'll die. Unfortunately, it's not going to be easy for the extraterrestrial whose return home from Earth gets sidetracked by romance and a couple of government agents who intent to capture the alien, dead or alive.
