Spider-Man (2002)

Synopsis:

Living with his Uncle Ben and Aunt May, geeky school photographer Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire, The Cider House Rules, Seabiscuit,Pleasantville) goes through an extraordinary transformation after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider during a school science trip.

From zero to hero overnight, Peter now thinks, moves and kills like a spider, and with the same blinking speed. Using his newfound abilities to win the heart of his childhood sweetheart and next-door neighbor Mary Jane Watson, tragedy soon strikes at home and Uncle Ben is murdered.

Vowing to use his superhuman powers for the greater good, the web slinger meets his greatest nemesis yet - the Green Goblin (Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe, The Shadow Of The Vampire, Platoon). Once the great scientist Norman Osborn now an even greater nutball, the Green Goblin wants the world at his feet, and Spidey's the only bug in that plan.
