Six Feet Under #47: Coming and Going

Synopsis:

Although Brenda has admitted to Joe, her boyfriend, that she has been seeing Nate on the side and that it is all in the past, Joe can sense that something's amiss. Brenda still insinuates herself into Nate's life by inviting herself to Nate and his daughter Maya's day out at a children's store.

Things come to a head when Joe comes home and sees Brenda and Nate in a compromising position on the couch. After some encounters, Claire and Edie have finally decided that Claire is not a lesbian. Keith is fired by his pop diva boss after she manages to seduce him into sleeping with her, even though she knew about his homosexuality.

David, still missing Keith and still suffering from post-traumatic disorder, has an encounter with Sarge, the man he and Keith had three-way sex with before. David turns psycho on Sarge by refusing to let him leave.

David realizes that his trauma has scarred him terribly, and that he needs help. He asks Keith to come back. Upon her return from Sunday service Ruth finds George having a flirty chat with Anita. He makes no apologies for other things that bother Ruth. Ruth turns the tables on him by leaving him a note on the kitchen table saying that she has gone and doesn't know when she'll return.
