Shaft

Synopsis:

New York city police detective, John Shaft (nephew of the original 1970 detective) has just arrested Walter Wade Jr for a racially motivated murder.

Shaft goes on a personal mission to make sure that Wade, son of a real estate tycoon, is brought to justice. And there is only one eye witness -- Shaft's co-officer Carmen Vasquez (Williams, The Courage To Love) is all he has to get Wade behind bars. However Wade uses his connections to get bail and sneak off to Switzerland, much to John Shaft's (Jackson, No Good Deed, Basic) chagrin.

But two years later, Wade resurfaces, under arrest but confident that his father's connections can get him off scott free. And they do, Wade is on bail again and thirsting for revenge. And because there is an eye witness to the murder, both Shaft and Wade are hunting her down. Will Shaft be able to get to her before Wade does?
