Rock Star

Synopsis:

By day, Chris Cole (Mark Wahlberg, The Perfect Storm, Planet of the Apes) repairs copy machines. By night, he fronts Pennsylvania's Steel Dragon tribute band, imitating his rock idol Bobby Beers to the last octave. On stage, he's got Bobby Beers running through his veins.

Opportunity knocks when the rock god gets axed from the band, and Chris is asked to replace him. Chris's life gets a kick-start into overdrive. No more living in the shadow of his idol, Chris gets to play with big boys and do original gigs for a change.

Fame, fortune and screaming women come hard and fast-he's about to find out the stuff stars are really made of. As the tagline goes, he's the wanna-be who's got to be. Let's just hope he was meant to be.
