Synopsis:

In this romantic drama, teenage pals Sean Penn (an Oscar nominee for Dead Man Walking) and Nicolas Cage (an Oscar winner for Leaving Las Vegas, Gone In 60 Seconds) enjoy a few carefree weeks of freedom before shipping out as Marines in World War II.

Penn, dazzled by a dazzling Elizabeth McGovern, begins a serious affair while hellraiser Cage runs into girlfriend problems. Directed by Richard Benjamin (Mermaids).
