Pure Luck

Synopsis:

Fans of Saturday Night Live alum, Martin Short will not want to miss this laugh-a-minute side-splitting comedy. Why? 'Cos this is one of those rare gems that gives Short the opportunity to run through almost his entire catalogue of double takes, wacky impressions and peculiar walks. And the plot's a riot too - when the daughter (Sheila Kelly) of a wealthy businessman (Sam Wanamaker) disappears in Mexico, a psychologist (Harry Shearer, The Truman Show), knowing that the girl is jinxed with bad luck, persuades her father to send to Mexico one of his employees - Proctor (Short, Merlin) an accountant with equally super bad luck to find her. It's a nutty plan, but the girl's father is desperate enough to try it. Unfortunately, it's Detective Campella (Glover, Lethal Weapon 4) who has to accompany Proctor to Mexico for the search. What follows is a road trip filled with many hilarious praftfalls.
