Synopsis:

While researching on 19th-century poet Randolph Henry Ash (Jeremy Northam- Gosford Park, Amistad), modern-day literary sleuths Maud Bailey (Academy® Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow - Shakespeare In Love, Sylvia, The Royal Tenenbaums) and Roland Michell (Aaron Eckhart- Paycheck, Erin Brockovich) discover a love letter written by the supposedly faithfully-married Ash to another woman--a lesser-known poet named Christabel La Motte (Jennifer Ehle- Pride And Prejudice).

Whilst unearthing the two poets' amorous secrets, Maud and Roland find themselves falling under a passionate spell that seems to parallel the Victorian poets' own affair.
