Synopsis:

A multi-layered romantic comedy about a beautiful woman pining for love whose family is teetering on the edge of domestic disaster. Claire is a brilliant 23-year old pianist, and on the eve of her graduation from the San Francisco Academy of Music, her life starts to come undone. First she gets rejected by a prestigious piano competition, her boyfriend dumps her, and an earthquake forces her from her apartment. Lonely and distraught, she moves back into her childhood home to live with her bizarre family. A comic gem with a cast of rising stars, PLAYING MONA LISA is filled with tears, jeers, romance, and, most of all, laughter.
