Planet of the Apes (2001)

Synopsis:

Visionary filmmaker Tim Burton helms the remake of the sci-fi classic where the apes are in charge and humans scavenge for subsistence, hunted and enslaved by the tyrannical primates. In this upside-down world, the sudden appearance of one man (Mark Wahlberg), a pilot who has crash landed on this strange planet, alien to the present order and unaffected by its oppression, serves as a challenge to the status quo and a catalyst for revolutionary social change.
