Pay It Forward

Synopsis:

Teacher Eugene Simonet (Spacey, K-PAX, The Shipping News) assigned his class the deed of thinking up one idea that could change the world, he didn't quite realize what his student Trevor (Osment, Artificial Intelligence: AI, Edges Of The Lord) would think up.

Trevor suggests everybody start paying a favor forward to someone else who needs help, instead of the conventional way of paying it back to the one who has helped you.

An idea that does indeed change the lives of thousands of people all over the country, including those of his alcohol-addicted mother Arlene (Hunt, Cast Away, What Women Want, Timepiece) and his physically and emotionally burnt teacher himself.
