Synopsis:

Sweet natured yet naive and unrefined, Connie Doyle (Lake) is pregnant and has just been dumped by her sleazy boyfriend. Fortunately for her, she is whisked away into the lap of luxury when she is assumed to be the widowed Patricia Winterbourne after her "husband" dies in a train wreck. The grieving family, led by matriarch, Grace (Maclaine), having never met their son's wife, take her in, accepting both her and her baby as part of the household. Having come into the security she needs for her and her baby, Connie decides to keep her identity a secret. That is until she falls for her "brother-in-law" Bill (Fraser)!
