It tells the story of Gus (Jordan Christopher Michael), a ten-year-old boy who becomes obsessed with a promotional card game in which players must collect cards at gas stations along the freeway. To fuel his obsession, he runs away from home and hits the road in his father's Ford Mustang convertible, only to encounter a bizarre cast of characters (played by the likes of Drew Barrymore, Meat Loaf, Garrett Morris, Susan Tyrell, Jack Nance, Flea, and Dick Miller, among others) along the way.
