Moscow on the Hudson

Synopsis:

A bittersweet movie that garnered a 1985 Golden Globe® nomination for Academy® and Emmy® Winner Williams (Bicentennial Man, Patch Adams, What Dreams May Come). He takes on the role of Vladimir, a saxophone player in the Moscow circus.

Life in Russia is difficult and unrewarding. While on tour in America, he decides to defect in Bloomingdale's department store in New York. We follow his life as he works his way through the American Dream, and faces up to the reality that the grass may not always be greener on the other side.
