Minority Report (2002)

Synopsis:

Step aside Timecop, it's Precrime's turn to eliminate the thought of evil. 2054 - the war on murder is over, because before murderers get to act out their fantasies, Precrime arrests them.

Tapping into the minds of three psychics (Precogs), the program is always a step ahead of the killings. There are those who are trying to get the program off the ground. There are also those who want nothing more than to watch Precrime bite the dust.

And then there's John Anderton (Oscar nominee Tom Cruise, The Last Samurai, A Few Good Men, Mission Impossible) - the Precrime enforcer who discovers a ripple in the system and must maneuver around it or else.

Seems Anderton has been fingered for the murder of a man he doesn't even know, and finds the system he so loyally served turning on him. He must find out who's targeted him for termination. Fast. If he's innocent, proving it could be murder.

Spielberg. Mechanical spiders. Science-pulp fiction. Cruise is in for yet another impossible mission. The future is bleak in this Spielberg directed movie.
