| | MidwivesSynopsis: Sibyl Danforth (Sissy Spacek, Academy Award Winner 1981, Coal Miner's Daughter, Carrie) is in the business of delivering babies. But one unfortunate accident later, she's having trouble delivering herself from the law. On a cold, stormy night, while Sibyl's busy ushering a newborn into our world, complications arise and the mother dies. In an attempt to save the baby, she performs an unauthorized Caesarean section and saves the kid.
