Synopsis:

1945 - 1956. Humble beginnings. A life more or less extraordinary. And an end to shock all ends. That about sums up the life of American television's hottest comedic duo Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

The crackerjack comedy twosome may have made rosy cheeks out of all of us in their day, but things were far from rosy behind the camera.

Sparking on and off screen, the personalities that made them a hit also made them a target of fame, fortune and overly inflated egos, leading to the clashes that ultimately caused their separation. With two class clowns vying for a slice of television primetime, there's no room for ego.

Rewriting American comedy and writing themselves into American history, Martin and Lewis is the story of 2 stooges, and how they fought for and won their independence, while their fans lost out completely.
