Synopsis:

LUCK initiates us into the world of a group of young, free-spirited underachievers who enjoy a good bet. At the centre is Shane Bradley (Luke Kirby), a smart, good looking 28 year old. Obsessed with the question of his own luck, Shane wonders if he'll be the lucky one that wins the heart of Margaret (Sarah Polley), the girl of his dreams. When she goes off to Europe with her ex-boyfriend, Shane becomes obsessed that he might truly be "unlucky". Turning to his gambling buddies to take his mind off his romantic woes, Shane tries to turn his fate around. Set against the excitement of the 1972 Canada/Russia hockey series, LUCK is a celebration of life, love and the risks we all take to test our own limits and our own fate.
