Synopsis:

In one of the most intense roles of his short career, Academy Award® nominee River Phoenix (Running On Empty, My Own Private Idaho) plays Jeff Grant, a teenager who learns from an FBI agent, Roy Parmenter (Academy Award® winner Poitier, Lilies Of The Field, Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?, The Jackal) that his parents are really deep-cover Soviet spies.

In between having to deal with all the turmoil that comes with being a teenager, Jeff is torn between his love for his family and his love for the country, as he struggles to cope with the secret that has turned his world upside-down and catapulted him into the dangerous world of international espionage.
