Synopsis:

"Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events" follows the young Baudelaire orphans as they are taken in by a series of odd relatives after the death of their parents. Violet is the oldest of the Baudelaires at 14, and is their brave and fast-thinking leader. The only boy is middle child Klaus, 12, who is intensely intelligent and obsessed with words. And the youngest is infant Sunny, who speaks in a language only her siblings can understand. Enigmatic author Lemony Snicket (Oscar® and Golden Globe® nominee Law, All the Kings Men, The Aviator) recounts the adventures of the three children as they change hands from the greedy, conniving Count Olaf (Golden Globe® winner Carrey, Fun With Dick And Jane, Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind) who's after the youngsters' inheritance; to the reptile-loving Uncle Monty (Connolly, The Last Samurai, White Oleander); to Aunt Josephine (Two-time Oscar® winner Streep, The Devil Wears Prada, A Prairie Home Companion), who lives in fear of just about everything.
