Left Behind: World At War

Synopsis:

Based on controversial evangelist Tim La Haye's novels about the coming of Armageddon and the Antichrist, the film sees charismatic ruler Nicolae Carpathia building up his power. World leaders including U.S. President Gerald Fitzhugh (Academy Award®, Golden Globe®, and Emmy® Award winner Gossett Jr., Club Soda, All In) seem to be held in his thrall. But a small group doubtful of Carpathia's intentions, believe Carpathia is the Antichrist, the one who will bring about the rule of evil and complete the annihilation of the world. When mercenaries make an attempt on President's Fitzhugh's life, he realizes he must seek the help of the Tribulation Force to expose Carpathia's diabolical intentions.
