Synopsis:

Police chief Jesse Stone gets in trouble with the town council after a shoot-out in Boston gets his friend and commander Healy hurt. Jesse finds himself being investigated by internal affairs. His issues get worse when a woman shows up in search of her missing child and Jesse willingly takes on the job.
