| | JeniferSynopsis: Based on a true story. Jenifer Estess (Giacomo, Pretty Woman, TV's Just Shoot Me) is a fulfilled New York Theatre producer who just turned 35 and feeling good about herself. The possibilities are endless. That's until she's diagnosed with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig's disease) - a debilitating disease where the brain loses its ability to control the muscles. But more bad news awaits her - there's no treatment for it and the few scientists working on a cure are not aware of other scientist's work. So Jenifer, along with her sisters Valerie (Kaczmarek, "Malcolm In The Middle" TV Series) and Meredith (Sciorra, American Crime) founded Project ALS, to raise awareness about the disease and funds for research.
